Host rules

We want every event at OSA to run smoothly and be enjoyable for both you and your guests. To help with this, please note the following house rules when hiring our spaces:

General
All bookings must be confirmed in writing and a deposit paid to secure the date.
The hirer is responsible for the behaviour and safety of their guests at all times.
Event timings, including set-up and pack-down, must be agreed in advance and adhered to.

Food & Drink
Only food and drink purchased from OSA may be consumed on the premises, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Our café/bar team provides a range of catering and drinks options to suit your event.
We operate a Challenge 25 policy – please ensure guests bring valid photo ID if they look under 25.

Noise & Entertainment
Live music and amplified sound are permitted in the upstairs venue only.
Music must finish by 11pm unless otherwise agreed.
DJs and performers must use the in-house sound system, unless prior arrangements have been made.

Use of Space
The upstairs venue is only accessible via stairs (no lift available). Please bear this in mind when planning your event.
Maximum copacities must not be exceeded: 60 upstairs / 40 downstairs.

Decorations are welcome but must not damage walls, floors, or fixtures. Please avoid confetti, glitter, or open flames (e.g. candles).

Health, Safety & Security
Fire exits and walkways must remain clear at all times.
The hirer must follow instructions from OSA staff regarding safety or security.
Any damages caused during the hire will be charged to the hirer.

End of Hire
Hirers must vacate the space at the agreed end time.

OSA staff will handle cleaning, but we ask that personal belongings and decorations are removed by the end of hire.
