Trading Post - Lewes is a café-style whole venue defined by an adaptable interior that retains an everyday café character while accommodating private layouts.

Design: The interior pairs exposed brick and timber flooring with a dark painted ceiling and directional spotlights, producing a compact, low-ceilinged feel. The layout uses café tables and open circulation around a service counter, combining casual seating and standing space.

Features: The venue provides Wi‑Fi and air conditioning plus a PA system and speakers that allow in-house music or a brought‑in DJ while operating under a set noise restriction. The venue also offers a step‑free guest entrance, wheelchair-accessible layout and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Local community groups and informal social gatherings that favour a relaxed, conversational layout rather than a formal, stage-focused setup.

Event offers and packages

We do not charge a hire fee with exclusive hire, we require a minimum pre-paid spend to be reached. Once this is reached on the evening it would then get refunded back to you up to 10 working days after your booking. If there is an amount not reached we would keep the remaining amount to make it up to the spend.
