Firle Place is a country-house great hall defined by preserved period architecture and an expansive single-volume interior.

Design: The hall has very high ceilings, pale stone floors and tall windows that flood the space with natural light. The walls carry tapestries and a large oil portrait, and the room is furnished with traditional pieces that keep the central floor area open.
