About this space
POST is a creative venue in Brighton & Hove, set inside a working photography and film studio — not a converted office. The building also houses a community B&W darkroom, a photobook library and a gallery space, and was founded by photographer and curator Nina Emett and artist-photographer Simon Roberts. Martin Parr described it as long-overdue for a city with more photographers than anywhere outside London.
The venue offers boardroom tables and chairs, a presentation screen, projector, high-speed Wi-Fi, a breakout room, and a kitchen and lounge area, with flexible layouts from an intimate boardroom to a 150-capacity standing event. Catering can be arranged on request.
POST is a popular choice for team-building days, planning sessions and workshops, with creative sessions led by in-house specialists and strategic facilitation delivered in partnership with OnePlanet. Not-for-profit organisations receive a 20% discount, and bookings can be cancelled up to 30 days out for a full refund — more flexible than most venues in the area.
Three minutes' walk from Hove Station, with direct rail links to Brighton and London, and on-site parking is available.
We also offer a full-day creative reset for teams of up to 16, combining hands-on sessions in the darkroom, photography studio and photobook library with a facilitated strategic planning session using the OnePlanet platform. Includes premium staff portraits shot in-studio — ready for your website, LinkedIn and marketing materials. Led by POST's founders alongside OnePlanet's founder, Pooran Desai.

Health & safety
● All Guests, invitees and attendees of the Hirer shall be required to sign-in on arrival at the Venue.
● Damage Prevention: Use of nails, screws, staples, or heavy-duty tape on walls, floors, or fixtures is prohibited, unless approval given on the day.
● Any and all electrical equipment to be used by the Hirer during the Event must be fully PAT Tested. All such equipment must bear the appropriate labels and be accompanied by the appropriate certificates as proof of such testing and compliance.
Cleanliness & Waste
● Rubbish Removal: Renters are responsible for bagging all rubbish and placing it in the designated bins. We heavily encourage the recycling of paper, plastic and glass so please make sure these are separated.
● Condition: The space must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Excess cleaning or damage will result in a deduction from your damage deposit.
Safety & Liability
● Emergency Exits: Fire exits and emergency pathways must remain completely clear at all times.
● Damages: The Renter assumes full financial responsibility for any damage to the facility, equipment, or grounds caused by guests, vendors, or attendees during the event.
● Smoking/Vaping: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the venue, including on any fire-escape.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
