Members and Visitors will be expected to:
-Help to create and maintain an environment free of intimidation and harassment
-Provide an environment where all have an equal opportunity to participate
-Communicate with others in a manner that reflects respect and care
-Demonstrate proper personal behaviour and conduct at all times
-Challenge behaviour that falls below expected standards
-Promote the positive aspects of golf when representing yourself or the club (e. fairplay, honesty and etiquette)
-Be organised and on time out of respect to others
-Comply with the dress code We ask that you wear smart/Casual wear, No tracksuits, rugby or football, or other like sports attire. Smart denim is acceptable (not ripped or torn), and please, no hats.
-Footwear is to be worn, but not rubber/plastic flip-flops. Wet and/or muddy clothing are not permitted in the Clubhouse. If you are in any doubt as to what is appropriate, please ask a member of staff.
-Treat organisers, club representatives and coaches with respect
-Observe instructions or restrictions required by club staff
-Respect the course and the property of both the golf club and other members
-Ensure that banter remains so and does not intimidate or offend others.
-Avoid offensive language or telling sexist or racist jokes which may be over heard in the clubhouse and upset other members or visitors.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
You will find a warm and friendly venue where the focus is on you from the moment you arrive to when you leave at the end of the day, making it a perfect venue for private parties and events. The recently refurbished bar lounge has great views of the surrounding course and woodland and extends on to a large patio. With real ales from a local brewery, a fully stocked bar and all catering options available this room can accommodate parties of up to 80 in a relaxed atmosphere.
The large and open upstairs function room offers a more formal area with the bonus of a dance floor which is ideal for parties, dances, anniversaries and any other celebration. Catering can be provided for up to 80 seated guests and can range from cold buffets through to formal dinners.
Meetings:
Ross on Wye golf club is the ideal venue for your meeting, conference or training event. For smaller groups of up to 16 people there is the Huggett Room and for groups of up to 60 the large upstairs function room can be used. All drinks and catering options are available and can be prepared at times to suit.
