The Squirrel is a perfect setting for weddings, boasting beautiful gardens, a well-stocked bar, a restaurant/conservatory, and eight en-suite letting rooms. Set in Hurtmore/Godalming with easy access to London and the South coast.

At The Squirrel we strive to make sure your wedding is perfect, no matter what you ask for we promise to do our very best to ensure that you have your dream wedding. Whether you want a family barbeque or a five-course sit-down meal, we will do our very best to make sure you get what you want, because it is your day. The landlord Paul Lindsay has organized hundreds of wedding receptions over the 15 years he has been in the business, so rest assured you are in good hands.

About The Squirrel

We are situated in the village of Hurtmore, near Godalming and Guildford, with easy access just off the A3.

Newly decorated and painted inside and out – we are proud to re-open The Squirrel and show off all of our hard work – making The Squirrel the place to be.

We have changed our concept and we are now offering a variety of homemade stone baked Pizza`s and succulent Burgers along with a great Sunday Roast (Sundays Only). Our bar is stocked with a good selection of interesting fair – real ales from across the country, lagers and ciders on draft and a wide range of wines and spirits to suit all tastes.

In the summer our lovely and extensive outside dining areas will really come into their own – we have spaced out tables to keep you safe. These include a covered veranda, a pretty bandstand area which is ide-al for groups and parties – we also have plenty of grass with swings, slide and climbing frame for the chil-dren to work up an appetite.

It’s the perfect setting for weddings, parties, wakes, family gatherings or a quiet drink with friends – we will also welcome your four legged friend with a dog treat from the bar (bar and outside only).

We also have 8 en-suit letting rooms within our beautifully refurbished 16th Century Cottages from £55 per night. English and continental breakfasts are also available (charges apply). We have five double and three single rooms. All our rooms have flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities and are ideal for those on business, leisure weekends or just visiting family or friends.
