About this space

Treetop Challenge is a semi‑private Outdoor Space in Go Ape Glentress Forest: a forest‑canopy high‑ropes course that runs between trees above the woodland floor.

Design: The space reads as raw, functional woodland: exposed ropes and metal fixings contrast with timber elements and a backdrop of tall conifers. The light is filtered through the canopy and the overall palette is earthy timber and green foliage.

Features: The course comprises a sequence of elevated platforms connected by rope ladders, walking bridges and suspended obstacle elements. The space uses continuous belay systems and provides harnesses and helmets, and trained on‑site instructors deliver safety briefings and supervise participants.

Ideal for: Active groups and teams looking for an energetic, social outdoor challenge that requires mobility and basic agility.

What sets it apart: A standout feature is the sustained, long ziplines that deliver extended runs through the canopy.

What guests say: The course is well maintained and feels safe. The instructors are friendly, patient and provide clear safety briefings.
