About this space

Semi-Private Hire is a semi-private Event Space in Sandbox VR - Grafton Place, centred on a neon-lit, high-tech bar and lounge that functions as the venue's social hub.

Design: The interior is industrial and geometric, featuring exposed ductwork, concrete floors and dark, angular finishes. The lighting relies on purple and magenta LED strips and low, focused fixtures that create high-contrast, nightclub-style illumination.

Features: The room contains a central bar island and flexible lounge seating arranged around an open floor. The room provides a PA system and speakers, Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, and allows hosts to play their own music or bring a DJ. The room also includes locker storage, wheelchair access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, tech-focused social gathering that combines standing socialising and informal seating.

What sets it apart: A robotic cocktail maker provides automated drink service and a visual spectacle.

What guests say: The space is immersive and technologically impressive. The service is friendly and provides clear briefings and quick check-in.
