Set inside a characterful former school building in the heart of Clitheroe, the main bar at Old School Rooms is a warm, relaxed and slightly quirky space that feels more like a giant living room than a traditional pub.

The bar combines original character with an eclectic, vintage-inspired interior, cosy seating areas and an informal atmosphere that works equally well for a relaxed drink or a lively event. Our well-stocked bar includes rotating cask ales alongside popular draught beers, Guinness, wines and spirits, while our kitchen serves a sociable menu of small plates, sharing food and cheese & charcuterie boards.

The space regularly hosts live music, open mic nights, jazz sessions, live sport and community events, giving it a lively atmosphere without losing its independent neighbourhood-bar feel.

For private and corporate events, the main bar is particularly suited to informal gatherings, networking events, after-work drinks, team socials, leaving parties and drinks receptions. Depending on the event, food and drinks packages can be arranged to create something more bespoke.

Facilities include a fully staffed and stocked bar, draught and cask beer, flexible seating and tables, food service, TVs for live sport and presentations, music and entertainment space, Wi-Fi and access to outdoor seating.
