About The Old School Rooms
The Old School Rooms is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.
A characterful independent venue in the heart of Clitheroe, with two distinctive spaces and plenty of personality.
Set within a historic former school building, Old School Rooms offers a refreshingly relaxed alternative to the traditional hotel or function suite. Informal, welcoming and full of character, we’re a versatile venue for everything from milestone birthdays and private parties to corporate events, networking, team socials, live music and celebrations.
Our Main Bar has the feel of a great country pub crossed with an oversized living room – warm, eclectic and made for socialising. With a well-stocked bar, cask and draught beers, wines and spirits, comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s ideal for drinks receptions, informal gatherings, networking and smaller celebrations.
For larger events, our separate Function Room is a spacious and flexible private venue that can be configured around your event. From parties, DJs and live music to presentations, workshops, corporate events and wedding celebrations, it gives you the freedom to make the space your own.
For larger bookings, the two spaces can work brilliantly together – welcome guests with drinks in the bar before moving through to the Function Room for food, presentations or entertainment.
Most importantly, we’re independent, friendly and flexible. We don’t believe every event should fit into the same package – tell us what you’re planning and we’ll work with you to make it happen.
