Forest Segway at Go Ape Thetford
About this space
An outdoor adventure centre centred on treetop rope courses and forest trails that provides activity-focused group experiences.
Design: A woodland activity campus of timber platforms, suspended lines and dirt tracks beneath a mixed pine and broadleaf canopy. The layout is open and irregular, with clearings and shaded sections punctuated by visible anchor points and course structures.
Features: The venue runs instructor-led sessions with helmets, harnesses and a compulsory safety briefing before each activity. The site includes multiple treetop rope courses, an all-terrain Segway trail, a dedicated training area, and online booking with on-site check-in.
Ideal for: Active groups seeking informal, physically engaging outdoor sessions that are social and hands-on.
What sets it apart: An on-site advanced high-ropes route called Challenge Plus that presents sustained, technically demanding obstacles at height.
What guests say: The instructors provide clear, patient safety briefings and hands-on assistance during activities. The courses are challenging and well organised, and the Segway sessions are accessible to first-time riders after practical training.
