Pentney Abbey has been renovated and restored to be exclusively used for weddings, so the venue is ready to make sure to provide you with the best experience possible. Weddings can be made by taking care of the fine details including welcome drinks until you wake up for your wedding breakfast. However, at the end of the day, it will be up to you where each part of your day will take place - the romantic gardens, the light-filled barn, one of the magnificent ceremony spaces… You even have the choice of getting ready in a luxurious bridal preparation area and spend the night in one of the venue’s suites!
The medieval Gatehouse dates all the way back to 1380 and has maintained its original mysterious charm from when Pentney Abbey was still a monastery. This is the most popular space for a wedding ceremony on our property, as nothing compares to saying your ‘I do’s surrounded by stone walls, arched mullion windows and ethereal ambience.
You can also choose to have your ceremony in the outside gardens, or the rustic barn, which would also be an unforgettable experience. The Barn is also perfect for your wedding reception, with a delicious menu created just for you by Manor Catering and Unique Norfolk Venues.
The impressive Barn is your dining space, its original features, exposed beams, and stone walls flooded with light from the magnificent doors leading out on to the patio and lawn. Delight your guests with an exquisite menu created by the talented team at Manor Catering and Unique Norfolk Venues.
