An outstanding venue made even better by an exceptional team who truly looked after us. Every request was handled effortlessly and always with a warm, friendly attitude. Across the full three days of conferencing, everything ran seamlessly without a single disruption.
The catering was equally impressive — a fantastic variety of delicious food, with all dietary requirements thoughtfully and carefully accommodated. What really stood out was the team’s willingness to go above and beyond, particularly when it came to last-minute requests and unexpected assistance. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
A genuinely professional and attentive experience from start to finish.
While the overall experience was positive, the catering quantities didn’t quite match the number of attendees. A little more food at both morning tea and lunch would have ensured everyone was comfortably catered for.
Additionally, we needed to arrange external AV support, as the conference room did not have built-in speakers or adequate sound equipment. Having an in-room sound system available would greatly enhance the convenience and overall conference experience.

The Pyrmont Bay room was a great venue for our training course, with plenty of natural light, space, and a good quality screen. The catering was excellent, and was a highlight of the venue for participants. Location is convenient to transport, and the team members who helped us on site were good. A standout was Chris, who helped us on the second day of our venue hire. His customer service and attention to detail was exceptionally good.
The 'Clickshare' system for casting to tv doesn't work well for videos, due to a lag, and doesn't always work easily with Mac laptops. We didn't realise there was an HDMI input until after we struggled with clickshare for quite some time. The HDMI worked well once we located it.

Already sent emails to the Novotel with this information and still no reply.
It's a roundtable plated lunch please. Unsure about AV requirements but don't think that's necessary. If you're able to respond ASAP I will submit the proposal to the Partners of this firm but they already have a few proposals to consider
