Brocket Hall sits in the middle of a huge stretch of Hertfordshire countryside, and the setting is honestly the first thing people notice. It feels quiet, even though it’s only about twenty-odd miles from London. The whole place has that old-world charm without feeling stiff or overly formal.

The whole estate works well for corporate groups too. There’s a good mix of quiet indoor areas and big outdoor spaces for activities. And of course, there are the two golf courses — The Melbourne and The Palmerston — which guests can use for a golf day or just a relaxed round. The clubhouse and practice areas make planning the day pretty straightforward.
