About The Stalls

Built in 1710 to house the Squire’s carts, The Barn at The Stalls has been carefully restored into a flexible events space. The room feels historic but precise. Rustic, with a controlled edge.
Polished concrete floors sit beneath tall Douglas Fir beams. Antique carts hang overhead. Bi-fold glass doors open straight onto the courtyard, with long views across Strang Manor Farm and the Chalke Valley.
The space adapts easily. A stretch tent can extend the barn for dining or entertainment. Inside, there is a bar with draught taps, a sound system, and a TV for talks or presentations. Furniture can be cleared to create a generous dance floor.
The barn suits intimate dinners, celebrations, meetings, and lively parties. It is accessible, practical, and designed to hold atmosphere without feeling formal.
