About Waterside Centre

Waterside Centre is a Trusted Tagvenue Partner, validated by the Tagvenue team with a record of successful bookings on the platform.

The Waterside Centre is a community hub in the heart of Newbury, run by local charity Berkshire Youth. At the heart of the centre is our work with young people aged 8–18, providing a safe place to go and positive things to do. Through youth clubs, outdoor activities and supportive youth work, we help young people build confidence, develop new skills and form friendships in an environment where they feel safe, valued and supported.

Alongside our youth programmes, the Waterside Centre is a welcoming space for the whole community. Local groups, organisations and businesses use our flexible spaces for meetings, events and activities, while visitors can relax at the Waterside Café and enjoy great coffee with beautiful riverside views. Whether you are looking for activities for children and teenagers, a venue to hire or simply a friendly place to spend time, the Waterside Centre is a place where young people thrive and the community comes together.

Our spacious, versatile venue is more than just a youth centre and community hub; it is also fully equipped to support your business needs. We offer a range of hire packages suitable for any occasion, from small team meetings and large conferences to busy networking events.

Our flexible spaces also provide the ideal setting for celebrations of any size, including children’s parties, private functions, and activity filled away days.

Our onsite café can take care of all your catering needs. We offer highly competitive room package rates when you hire a space and choose our in-house catering service
