About Blake 1757

QUIRKY AND UNUSUAL SPACES

Step into the worlds we have created for photoshoots, filming, and private events.

The studios are curated to encourage a variety of atmospheres. Each room invites a different sensory experience as you immerse yourself in the space. The rooms are:
- Oriental chillout (studio 1)
- Cosmic room
- Woodland room
- Dressing room
- Castle room

“For those who wanted to sit and relax, the woodland room allowed for that. Sitting on grass and being surrounded by woodland while indoors was a surreal and calming experience” – Alex

Our studios are in Hoxton E2, by vibrant Shoreditch and arty Columbia Road, which are ideal places for you to browse indie shops, admire local artwork, grab a bite to eat, enjoy a coffee or a cocktail.

There is a small street-level reception area and a cloakroom at the bottom of the stairs. The large basement contains the 5 themed studios, single WC, kitchenette, and walk-in shower.

“There’s a corridor through the building with lots of exciting little rooms leading off it and a kitchen area and shower at the end” – Tania

There are different wall textures and details, including numerous large murals. This is a fun space with lots of character.

Each piece of furniture has been curated for you to feel good interacting with it, including an impressive throne chair, and an antique chaise lounge. Colours and textures stimulate your senses and provide novelty. From heavy metal stainless steel chains to the soft artificial grass, there are many possible scenes you can imagine and create for your art or play. Indeed, even our coffee table can be used! Before we gave it a new home, the coffee table was used in a play at Southwark Playhouse, which is why it has a reinforced top to take the weight of humans dancing on it.

“All I heard were happy voices. I watched with soul-refreshing enjoyment as people laughed and hugged, talked and joked in the rooms so perfectly laid out to allow this kind of freedom from monotony” – Alex
