About Carne
Carne is a Trusted Tagvenue Partner, validated by the Tagvenue team with a record of successful bookings on the platform.
Carne is a restaurant focused on steaks and other meat dishes, presented in a polished, traditionally styled dining room with classic fixtures and visible wine storage.
Venue highlights: The venue provides in-house catering and supports promoted or ticketed events, allowing hosts to commission tailored set menus and organised ticket sales. The dining room layout includes booth seating, a fireplace and prominent wine racking that suits seated meals and inward-facing receptions. The on-site bar supplies a focused cocktail list and cellar wines for pairing packages.
Best for: Private dining and milestone meals; tasting or ticketed supper events; corporate dinners and client entertaining.
Location: Church Road sits on a local high street and provides neighbouring restaurants and bars that give guests options for after-event drinks and late-night dining.
What guests say: The steak is consistently cooked to the requested doneness and appears repeatedly as a menu highlight. The cocktail list and wine selection complement plated menus, and the front-of-house service is attentive and well organised for group bookings.
