About Medway Campus

Medway Campus is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

Originally built in 1902, the naval swimming baths and bowling alley were formed as part of the former Royal Naval Barracks at Chatham Dockyards which alongside Portsmouth formed one of six Royal Naval Dockyards in England. Following the closure of the Dockyard, the buildings were partly occupied by the Natural Resources Institute, but the swimming baths complex were left unused and until the site was acquired by the Universities at Medway.

Following a large-scale redevelopment and refurbishment in 2017, this beautiful grade II listed building was modernised and converted into a versatile events space: The Hub. Sticking to its recreational roots, the space is perfect for music events, conferences, parties, theatre and much more.
