Host rules

General Rules for York Road Studio
Booking & Arrival:
Your booking time is when you are granted access to the studio. Please do not arrive earlier than 15 minutes before your
scheduled time. For example, if your booking starts at 8.30 AM, do not arrive before 8.15 AM. Our site representative arrives
at your booking time, not before. If you need extra time for setup, please book additional hours.
Guest Count Accuracy:
Ensure your guest count is accurate at the time of booking. If you request a booking for 5 people but arrive with 25,
additional fees may apply, and your booking may be subject to cancellation.
No Smoking Policy:
Smoking (including e-cigarettes, cigarettes and cannabis) and the use of recreational drugs is strictly prohibited inside the
building.
Cleaning & Space Condition:
The space must be left in the same condition as when you arrived. This includes:
• Taking out all your rubbish
• Returning props/furniture to their original places
• Keeping the space clean
Additional cleaning fees may apply for failure to comply.
Shooting Restrictions:
Shooting is strictly limited to inside the studio. No exterior or street shots are permitted as it is a residential area. If you
attempt to shoot outside, your booking will be immediately canceled without a refund.
No loitering by the entrance except for initial gear load-in.
Prohibited Items & Activities:
No real firearms or live weapons (prop guns are allowed but must be approved by our site rep).
No pyrotechnics or naked flames.
No fake blood, squibs, glitter, colour smoke bombs, or pillow feathers—violations will incur a £150 additional cleaning fee.
No pornography of any kind.
Rental & Overtime:
Your rental is billed hourly. To avoid overtime charges, all equipment, crew, and vehicles must vacate the premises by the
end of your booked time. Example: If your booking is 8.30 AM - 6 PM, you must be off the property by 6 PM. Exceeding your
time will result in an additional hourly charge.
