Exclusive Venue Use at Winchester Science Centre
About this space
Available for exclusive venue hire, Winchester Science Centre can accommodate up to 600 guests across multiple event spaces. Exclusive hire includes full access to two floors of hands-on interactive science exhibits, the show-stopping planetarium, a staffed bar, professional PA system, lighting, outdoor activity spaces and use of the entire car park. This flexibility allows events to flow seamlessly between drinks receptions, presentations, entertainment and networking, creating a dynamic and engaging experience. Dinners for up to 210 guests can also be hosted on the exhibition floors.
For more focused events, the planetarium can also be hired independently, seating up to 168 guests. Featuring a striking 360-degree projection dome, stage, professional AV facilities, PA and lighting systems, accessible seating and a staffed bar, this unique space is perfectly suited to talks, screenings, award ceremonies and Christmas parties.
Enhance your event further with presenter-led planetarium shows or live science demonstrations, ideal for team away days, end-of-year celebrations and corporate events that aim to entertain while inspiring guests. As part of Wonderseekers, events hosted here also support a charity dedicated to engaging children and communities with science.

- During term time, early access times prior to 3pm may be possible dependant on the exact date and worked around our primary purpose of educating school groups between 10am-2pm.
