About this space
Our Planetarium has a seated capacity of 168 theatre-style with a small stage, 360 digital screen and is equipped with sound, lighting, and presentation capabilities, and the exhibition floors have a combined standing capacity of over 1000 people, which includes a central presentation area (Science Live) that can be used for presentations, live demonstrations and has a mezzanine style viewing area.
Depending on your requirements the capacities may be adjusted in order to best suit your event, e.g., for seated dinners on the lower ground floor we can host up to 250 guests. Plus, every booking helps support our Charity, Wonderseekers, to deliver engaging science experiences to local children who might not usually have access to them.

- We operate under a premises licence that permits the sale of alcohol from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
