Down below Mr Wilson’s, you’ll find Capone’s Speakeasy — Sheffield’s hidden gem. It’s an underground cocktail bar with serious 1920s flair. You walk down the stairs and it’s like stepping back in time — low lights, dark wood, plush seating, and that old-school, secret-bar atmosphere. It’s classy but relaxed, and the cocktails are spot on — classic mixes done properly, served at your table by staff who know what they’re doing.
The whole place has a story to it — inspired by the Prohibition era, with a Sheffield twist. It’s ideal if you’re after something a bit different from the usual bar scene, whether it’s a night out, date night, or private event.
