About this space

Ponthir Sports and Community Club is a community sports club centred on a straightforward bar that functions as the venue's social hub.

Design: The interior presents a compact, practical bar fronted in pale vertical timber slats, plain walls and a low acoustic ceiling. Natural light, open shelving and simple seating create a no-frills, functional appearance.

Features: The venue has a staffed bar counter with back shelving and a service hatch, plus bar stools and communal tables. The space provides Wi‑Fi, air conditioning and a PA system with speakers. The layout allows own music or a hired DJ, and the building provides step-free access and wheelchair-accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Local community groups and small social gatherings seeking a relaxed, sociable drinks-led meeting or an informal standing reception.
