About this space

Barn is a Banqueting Hall in Tall John's House and is a characterful, blank‑canvas barn that provides a flexible open‑plan interior for fully customised setups.

Design: The interior has long, narrow proportions and a high vaulted ceiling. The finish pairs exposed timber beams, stone door surrounds and a neutral tiled floor with low wall uplighting for even, warm illumination.

Features: The space has natural light from full‑height doors, a PA system and built‑in speakers. The space also provides Wi‑Fi, a defined dance area, permission to play own music or bring a DJ, a step‑free guest entrance and accessible toilets; a noise restriction applies.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, social setting for communal seated dining or activity‑based sessions such as movement classes and workshops.

What guests say: The barn is peaceful, spacious and full of character. The space is adaptable and welcoming, having been used for yoga weekends, film shoots and customised wedding setups.
