The Dutch Barn is Barton Court's largest event space - a characterful, high-ceilinged barn on a private Georgian estate at the foot of the Malvern Hills, where a corporate dinner, a conference or a celebration unfolds with the whole place to yourselves. Generous proportions give it warmth and a sense of occasion a conference suite never quite manages, while still taking everything a working event needs: staging, AV, a bar, a dance floor.
It comfortably seats 90 for dinner, holds up to 120 for a standing reception, and seats around 100 theatre-style for a conference or presentation; for a board-style meeting it takes 30 to 40 around the table. A terrace links it to the neighbouring Saw Mill, so guests can spill outside between sessions or for drinks as the evening draws in, and the barn is licensed until midnight.
It suits company away-days and conferences, product launches, summer and Christmas parties, awards dinners and large private celebrations. In-house catering runs from working lunches to full three-course dinners, and the estate café is a few steps away. Because hire is exclusive, there are no other guests and no passing trade - just your group, the barn and the grounds.
Barton Court has hosted away-days and events for Saatchi & Saatchi, Heineken, PwC and the Centre for Effective Altruism. The estate sits about an hour from Birmingham, close to the M5 and M50, with Colwall station a mile away and direct trains to Birmingham, Bristol and London. Teams who want to make a night of it can stay on site, with accommodation across the estate for up to 40.
