We're Pentonville Studios, an amazing daylight studio space in Angel Islington - a short 3 mins walk from Angel station.
Studio 1 is the ideal studio for small to medium sized shoots, filming, editorial, ecommerce, castings, auditions, rehearsals and much much more.
This is a gem in the heart of London, located in a charming Georgian Townhouse, we're a 1st floor daylight photography studio with North and South facing natural light and full BLACK OUT options available.
Directly outside is a self-contained courtyard which can be used as a shoot space, or for private parking (1 space available).
INCLUDED in the dry hire fee:
- A permanent GREY artisanal microcement finished portrait wall
- Backdrop / Colorama support system (paper backdrops on request - see below)
- Wifi 100 Mbps broadband
- A private changing area
- 2 x Polyboards (Black/White)
- Lighting stands
- Stereo / sound system
- Free Parking space (onsite / off-road)
The studio also has a wide range of hand painted canvas & paper backdrops / Coloramas available ON REQUEST.
Paper backdrops are all charged at £15/meter if used/soiled.
We stock black/white/storm grey as standard, with various other colours available, please enquire! ALL BACKDROP REQUESTS MUST BE MADE 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE, so we can make sure we have what you need in stock.

Outside catering permitted, all rubbish must be cleared away.
Free on-site/off-street parking is available for one space. Please enquire to see if we can accommodate additional spaces.
Hire times include your set up and tear down times without exceptions. Please plan and make your booking accordingly. Overtime is chargeable from the moment the official booking ends and is charged by the hour
(£60/hour).
Minimum 2h per booking.
Terms and conditions will be sent to the respective hirer. By proceeding with the booking the hirer is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions.

About Pentonville Studios
A daylight studio space with beautiful natural light, in Angel Islington, Central London (zone 1). An ideal space for fashion, editorial, e-commerce, and much much more.
Uniquely located between London's Angel (2 mins walk from station), Kings Cross, Clerkenwell & Old Street, Pentonville Studios is situated within a converted Georgian townhouse.
Pentonville Studios is a friendly and well-equipped photo studio for hire with or without equipment, technicians, or additional services. We're open Monday to Friday from early until late.
Great for editorial, fashion photography and portraiture, e-commerce photography, product photography, and still life. Coloramas are available in White, Black, Grey, and a selection of colours.
The studio is a daylight studio with beautiful natural light, but there are full black-out options available as well.
NB, the studio is NOT soundproofed, but many shoots with sound have been shot here!
