About this space

Sticky Walnut is an intimate Modern European restaurant centred on a compact bistro dining room that emphasises close-table service and a focused menu.

Design: The dining room pairs exposed brick and deep green-painted walls with warm wooden floors and leather-upholstered chairs. The layout is compact and social, with a small service counter and a combination of pendant and wall lighting that gives even, practical illumination.

Features: The bar serves a focused drinks list of wine, beer and classic cocktails and accommodates curated wine flights. Natural daylight reaches the front dining area and the seating can be rearranged into a mix of small tables and a short banquette to suit seated service. Front-of-house staff manage service and can run a set-menu format for group dining.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking a relaxed, seated dinner or a tasting-style evening in a compact, social bistro setting.

What sets it apart: An in-house PA system allows hosts to play their own music through the venue's speakers during a private hire.

What guests say: The restaurant serves well-presented, inventive Modern European dishes and provides attentive, knowledgeable service. The wine selection and paired flights are adventurous and are explained clearly during service.
