The Private Room at Chester Station Tap Room is a fully private function space for parties, meetings, corporate events, screenings, and private gatherings. The room accommodates up to 80 guests standing or 60 seated.
The space includes a private bar with six keg lines, projector and screen, sound system, and flexible seating or standing layouts. Daytime and evening bookings are available, with catering and drinks packages offered.
Prices
For private parties held Sunday to Thursday evenings, an 8-hour booking requires a minimum spend of £750 for 60–70 guests, £500 for 40–59 guests, or £300 for 20–39 guests. Catering is charged separately.
For Friday and Saturday evenings, an 8-hour booking costs £1,500 for 60–70 guests, £1,000 for 40–59 guests, or £500 for 20–39 guests.
Peak-date pricing applies on bank holiday weekends, race dates, and during Christmas. Rates are £2,000 for 60–70 guests, £1,500 for 40–59 guests, and £1,000 for 20–39 guests.

Option 2 for £13.25pp - Sandwiches as above, Pork Pies, Sausage Rolls, Buttermilk Chicken Wings, Coleslaw. Garnished with fresh salad & crisps.
Option 3 (hot) for £18.95pp - A choice of any two of the following. Beef Chilli Con Carne, Chicken Curry, Lancashire Hot Pot, Homemade Pies, Hot Pork & Stuffing Batches.
Option 4 (hot) for £24.95pp - Classic Burger Sliders, Mini Steak & Ale / Mini Cheese & Onion Pies
Mini Croque Monsieur, Mini Sausage Rolls, Mini Beer Battered Haddock & Chips.

Host rules
• The hirer is responsible for the behaviour of all guests attending the event.
• Management reserve the right to refuse entry or end an event early if behaviour becomes unsafe, abusive or excessively disruptive.
Smoking & Vaping
• Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the building or function room.
• Guests must use the designated outdoor smoking area.
• Tampering with smoke detectors or fire safety equipment will result in the event being stopped immediately.
Children
• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
• Under 18s may be required to leave by an agreed time in line with licensing laws.
Decorations
• Decorations are welcome, however no confetti, glitter or confetti balloons are permitted.
• Nothing may be attached to walls, ceilings or fixtures using nails, pins or strong adhesives.
• Candles and naked flames are not permitted unless agreed in advance.
Food & Drink
• No outside food or drink may be brought onto the premises unless agreed with management.
• Celebration cakes are welcome.
• We operate a Challenge 25 policy and valid ID may be required.
Music & Entertainment
• DJs, musicians or external entertainment must be approved in advance.
• Music must remain at a reasonable level in line with licensing requirements.
• Entertainment must finish at the agreed time.
Damage & Cleaning
• Any damage, excessive cleaning or breakages may be charged to the hirer.
• Personal belongings and equipment are left at the owner’s risk.
Timings & Deposits
• Setup and access times must be agreed in advance.
• Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation unless otherwise agreed.
