About this space

Outdoor Area is the private garden of The Hole In The Wall, an informal country‑garden space attached to the pub and defined by a relaxed, rustic layout.

Design: The Outdoor Area combines mixed hard landscaping and planted beds with mature trees and open sightlines that create a bright, casual outdoor setting.

Features: The space includes a raised paved terrace and a lower gravel seating area fitted with timber picnic benches and parasols. The space permits its hirer to play their own music and to bring a DJ. The space has a step‑free guest entrance and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking a relaxed, social outdoor setting for informal seated meals or standing drinks.

What sets it apart: The garden overlooks adjacent paddocks and open countryside, providing an uninterrupted rural outlook beyond the fenced seating area.

What guests say: The outdoor area is charming and well maintained. The space preserves the pub's 16th‑century character in its fixtures and layout.
