About this space

The Lower Floor is suitable for small events and classes. It has Wi-Fi, a large flat-screen TV for all those embarrassing photos of the birthday boy or girl when they were younger, and enough space for a DJ or live band.

The room does not have heating, so it can get quite cold in the winter months. We charge £40 per hour with a minimum of 3 hours per booking. £55 per hour includes access to our bar with two bar staff. We are unable to accept bookings for Friday evenings.

Suitable for:

Parties, reunions, anniversaries, training, children's parties, local community meetings, societies and clubs, music events, theatre production, band practice, other, wakes, baby groups, fitness classes/yoga, educational pursuits, church events/choir practice, school events, naming ceremonies, film shoots, banqueting, corporate events, dance classes and more.

CARISBROOKE LAWN TENNIS CLUB LIMITED (“the Club”)
KENWOOD ROAD, LEICESTER, LE2 3PF (“the Premises”)

The following pages detail the legal agreement for hiring the clubhouse. All bookings are subject to these Conditions of Hire, and a booking form must be completed and signed to confirm agreement to these terms.

Maximum Occupancy
The maximum occupancy capacity for the clubhouse is 100 people.

Alcohol
It is illegal for individuals under 18 to drink or purchase alcohol on the Premises.
Violations may result in prosecution of staff or Committee members and could lead to the loss of the Club’s alcohol licence.
The Club reserves the right to request proof of age from anyone drinking or buying alcohol on the Premises.
Personal Items
The Club accepts no responsibility for liability, loss, claim, damage, cost, expense, or injury resulting from items left on the Premises or in vehicles in the car park.
All personal items or property are left entirely at the owner's risk.
General Disclaimer
The Club is not responsible for any liability, loss, claim, damage, cost, expense, or injury occurring on the Premises, except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Club or its representatives.

Indemnity Clause
The Hirer agrees to indemnify the Club for all liabilities, costs, and expenses incurred due to any act or omission by the Hirer during the hire period.

Conditions of Hire
Any disbursements related to the hire (e.g., special licences) will be borne by the Hirer.
The Premises may only be used for the purpose described in the Hire Declaration.
Children must be supervised at all times.
If the event occurs during tennis matches, attendees must adhere to tennis etiquette to avoid disruption.
