Inside the Hall, you will discover 2 staterooms of different sizes, both perfect for your wedding ceremony. The Princess Mary Drawing Room, featuring a Challen piano, can accommodate up to 150 guests while the Sir Richard Hutton Room has a capacity of 110 seats. You can also make use of the beautiful St. Mary’s Church for a religious ceremony.
Your wedding reception can also take place in a stateroom or in the charming Orangery, connected to the Hall’s private gardens. If you dream of a grand celebration, the venue can provide a marquee for up to 250 guests and a parquet dance floor to keep them entertained.
In the grounds, you will find many stunning backdrops for a photo shoot. Whether you prefer a traditional, creatively-themed or simple and intimate wedding, Goldsborough Hall is waiting to make it happen with every detail polished to perfection. Private parking will be made available to your guests and five-star accommodation can also be rented at the Hall.

Its stunning ceremony and reception rooms, as well as all 12 acres of the landscaped grounds, will be exclusively yours to use on your special day. The Hall boasts a rich history connected with royalty. It was built in the early 17th century for Sir Richard Hutton and remodelled in the 1750s by famous architects Robert Adam and John Carr. In the 1920s, it came to be known as the former residence of Princess Mary, Queen Elizabeth II’s aunt. Converted into a stylish wedding venue, it is now waiting for your splendid celebration to become part of its history.
Goldsborough Hall is located on Church Street in Goldsborough, Knaresborough. Harrogate, a historic spa town in North Yorkshire, is 20 minutes away. Thanks to the closeness of the A1(M) motorway and Leeds Bradford Airport, the venue is easily accessible from all over the country.
