About this space

Oswald House is a Georgian country house set across extensive private grounds, combining formal reception rooms and informal communal spaces.

Design: The interiors feature classical Georgian proportions, high ceilings and tall windows that admit abundant natural light. A neutral palette, traditional mouldings and polished wood floors provide a formal backdrop while varied seating arrangements accommodate both seated and casual layouts.

Features: The house includes a glass conservatory opening onto the lawn, a separate ballroom-style dining room and a garden room that serves as a breakout area. The property provides an on-site bar, a PA system with speakers and permission for own music or an external DJ. The venue contains guest bedrooms with morning breakfast service, step-free access to main reception areas and staff support for vendor coordination and pre-event storage.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a house-style gathering that blends seated dining and relaxed socialising across several connected rooms.

What sets it apart: A central reception hall contains a large open fireplace that functions as the venue's main social hub.

What guests say: Oswald House provides attentive, detail-focused event coordination from its on-site team. The grounds and interior rooms provide elegant, welcoming backdrops and the in-house catering delivers consistently well-presented food.
