The Blue Room is a compact space in the basement. It seats 8 people in its standard arrangement. This area is excellent for meetings, small workshops, and intimate presentations.
The room includes a Samsung 4K HDR TV with HDMI connectivity and adaptors. Available for VGA, Apple mini display port, and USB-C. Air-conditioned and set up for plug-and-play use, it’s a practical choice for straightforward gatherings. Alternate setups are available for an additional fee.

Charity/non-profit discount 25% on room hire rate only. All prices exclude VAT.

Booking and availability
* Only half-day or full-day bookings are accepted; hourly bookings are not available
* Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance incur an 80% charge; cancellations made less than 5 days in advance incur a 30% charge
Event type restrictions
* No physical exercise classes (e.g., yoga, dance) are allowed
* Public exhibitions not part of Lighthouse’s artistic programme are not permitted
* The venue is not suitable for parties, including birthdays
* Live music events are generally unsuitable due to the venue's setup and residential neighbors; some acoustic or spoken word events may be possible
Safeguarding and supervision
* Children's workshops hosted by third parties are not allowed; only Lighthouse-organized events for under-18s are permitted
Technical requirements
* Events involving significant technical setups or personal equipment require booking a technician
