Robun is a modern Japanese-inspired restaurant where robata-style cooking and a focused drinks selection create a sociable, food-led dining environment.

Design: The dining room pairs dark timber tables and bench seating with a backlit geometric wall and a large illustrative mural for a restrained, contemporary interior. The room uses warm, low-level lighting and uncluttered sightlines to keep the focus on the table and conversation.

Features: The venue operates as a fully serviced restaurant with a staffed bar and a kitchen set up for shared plates and set menus. The room includes an installed PA system and a BYO-DJ policy alongside venue Wi‑Fi and air conditioning. The building provides step-free guest access and accessible toilets.

FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS AT ROBUN

With beautiful dishes rooted in Japanese culinary tradition, unique festive cocktails and a range of wine and beer packages, Robun is all set to host your parties this Christmas.

The main restaurant on the ground floor, which is fully accessible, can seat up to 80 guests. The restaurant space includes a generous bar area, the main dining area and an open kitchen, complete with an exclusive Chef’s Table by the pass. Designed with an immersive dining experience in mind, the walls feature hand painted murals, inspired by the restaurant’s namesake, Kanagaki Robun, who was the co-creator of the first ever manga magazine, as well as introducing Western barbecue to Japan. This space is available to be hired for exclusive use.

Japanese Sharing Plates

A great option for smaller gatherings of 8 to 10 people. Guests will have a selection of four starter dishes and four main dishes accompanied with rice to share, followed by a choice of two desserts.

A menu fir for larger celebrations, guests can enjoy five starter dishes to share and two Yakiniku main course options cooked on the robata grill, accompanied with rice. This will be followed by two dessert options.
A Taste of Robun
