About this space

The Boathouse is an Event Space in Mount Druid, a compact lounge‑style room arranged to encourage informal mingling and conversational flow among guests.

Design: The interior is timber-lined with a low, arched ceiling and dark finishes that create an intimate scale. The room contains layered vintage furnishings, leather seating, patterned rugs and low-level chandeliers that produce dense visual texture.

Features: A built-in PA system and speakers are available, and the room allows own music and external DJs; venue Wi‑Fi is included. The space receives natural light, has step‑free guest access and accessible toilets, and includes existing lounge seating and flexible layouts for standing or seated arrangements.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, sociable gathering in an intimate, conversational setting, suited to informal receptions or casual seated dinners.

What sets it apart: A standalone boathouse building that occupies a waterside position on the estate, giving events a distinctive lakeside backdrop.

What guests say: The Boathouse is atmospheric and full of character. The interiors are richly textured and provide strong visual interest even in low light.
