About this space
The Grand York Ballroom is a spacious event venue covering more than 10,000 square feet. Crystal chandeliers and an open layout create an impressive setting for receptions, celebrations, conferences, and large gatherings.
The ballroom can accommodate up to 750 guests for dinner and dancing. For smaller events, the space can be divided into three separate rooms. The largest section can host up to 420 guests, while the two smaller rooms can each accommodate up to 90 guests, making the venue suitable for a wide range of event formats and group sizes.

Host rules
• Menu choices are due at least 3 weeks prior to the function date
• Meals served after 9:00pm and on statutory holidays are subject to an additional charge
• Meals not served within ½ hour of scheduled time are subject to an additional charge
• Allergies & special dietary requirements are due at least 5 days prior to the function date
• All food and beverage items served must be provided by the hotel and may not be removed from the hotel premises by either you or your guests
• Any outside food & beverage brought into the hotel/meeting rooms/convention centre/banquet halls which are not indicated on the contract, will be subject to additional service charges
• Food and beverage added on-site is subject to a 20% surcharge
• All food and beverage pricing are subject to a 15% Service Charge and a 3% Administrative fee, both of which are taxable. Prices are subject to 13% HST which is subject to change
• Menu prices are subject to change based on market conditions
• Bar service and entertainment must end by 2:00am in order to clear the room by 2:30am
• Sheraton Parkway Hotel is required by law to collect sound fees on behalf of SOCAN (The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) and Re:Sound. Prices are subject to HST
• Pre-payment of estimated costs are due five (5) business days prior to your function date, unless specific arrangements have been made with our Credit Department
• Payments can be made via certified cheque, money order, cash, debit or major credit cards (There is a 2.4% surcharge for any credit card charges). Deposits are non-refundable
