The staff were so friendly and accommodating, we had a great time for our work Christmas party. Location was perfect, really good vibe with the staff and yummy cocktails.
We had a christmas party package and the only negative was the amount of food which I think next time we would try and organise a little bit more. The food itself was delicious just wish there was a bit more of it.

The service was unbelievably bad. There was no communication between the events manager and the staff. I had booked a bottomless function for all my guests and paid $79 per person. They denied us drinks at the bar as we ‘just had one’. We were also told at the start of the function that we would have a waitress take our orders and half way through we were told we could no longer order from the waitress. The manager also made us leave as soon as the function ended even though I spoke to the events manager and she told us we could stay after the function ended and continue to use the space and just pay for drinks we wanted to get afterwards. We were treated very rudely and I wouldn’t recommend to go there.

1. The Swanston St. balcony cannot accommodate 50-120 as written in their brochure. 2. We booked the venue as a private function; however, other customers still comes in and walking through our venue to get to the other side of the balcony. Also, some customers who are not our guests stay at our place which makes the place even more crowded. In summary, if you are looking for a place with good food and drinks to catch up with friends, this place is good. If you are looking for a private-ish function, Father's Office is not a very good choice I think.
