We hired the Tasting room at the Black Lodge for my daughter’s 16th birthday party. The room accommodated 20 guests comfortably. We were able to connect a phone to the speaker system to play music and we did our own catering. The staff at the Black Lodge were very helpful and happy to assist with anything we needed.

Black Lodge Taproom, a two story taproom located in West Kirby - a stones throw from train station and beach.

Serving a selection of locally made beers from our brewery in Liverpool, amazing cocktails and delicious wine. This is a great space to host your event or party with a modern design and great plants. We offer hire of our function room with it's own private bar (which holds around 30 people) and full venue hire (upstairs and downstairs which holds around 70-80 people)

FAQ

The bar will have the usual soft drinks, spirits and red, white and rosé wines. Beer options depend on what has been brewed and may include Hilbre Helles, Baltic Pale, Baltic Pilsner, 100 Dollar Volvo, stout, hazy IPA and other pale ales; a message can be sent the week before so the selection can be chosen, if that works.

Yes, children are allowed, and bringing your own catering is also fine.

Cancellations 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations 7 days to 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.
