Used tre venue for our wedding reception. (40 guests). The staff was very professional and efficient. Food and drinks were great 👍🏼 I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

There is very limited parking capacity by the venue at the weekend. Your guests will need to park either in town or on the other side of train station.

About The Stroud Hotel

The Stroud Hotel is a Trusted Tagvenue Partner, validated by the Tagvenue team with a record of successful bookings on the platform.

The Stroud Hotel is a hotel in a late‑Victorian stone building that combines period architecture with a contemporary bar and restaurant.

Venue highlights: The hotel operates an in-house kitchen that handles private catering and supports extensive vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian menus. The bar and dining areas use timber and brick finishes and are laid out for seated meals or standing receptions. On-site bedrooms allow hosts to combine evening events with overnight accommodation for guests.

Best for: Private dinners and celebrations, overnight group stays for multi-day bookings and ticketed supper-club or live-music nights.

Location: The hotel sits in Stroud town centre beside the railway station, which makes arrivals by train straightforward. The town centre supplies shops, cafes and evening venues for guests to continue socialising after an event.

What guests say: The team provides friendly, helpful front-of-house and bar service. The restaurant delivers reliable main courses and breakfasts, and the bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed for overnight stays.
