About The Ashridge Great Barn

The Ashridge Great Barn is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

The Ashridge Great Barn is a 500‑year‑old farm barn that pairs rustic timber construction with airy, adaptable interiors and evident historic character.

Venue highlights: The barn contains a permanent wooden dance floor and a cosy lounge area at one end, arranged to separate reception and social zones. The wider site includes multiple outdoor ceremony locations plus fields for bell tents, camping or glamping and on-site accommodation, allowing hosts to stage multi-day celebrations.

Best for: Rural weekend weddings, outdoor ceremony-led celebrations, and multi-day private retreats with on-site camping or glamping.

Location: Ashridge Court Farm's valley in rural Devon contains rolling pastures and managed wildlife woodland, providing scenic spots for ceremony photography and countryside walks for guests.

What guests say: The event team is organised, supportive and responsive throughout planning and the event weekend. The grounds and ceremony sites provide varied photographic backdrops and include sheltered options that work well in poor weather.
