Bunka Rooftop sits seven floors up on top of the old Observer Building in Hastings, so you’re well above everything with a clear view out to the sea and across the town.

The setting does most of the work here. You’re looking over the English Channel, the Old Town, and up towards the castle, which makes it a strong choice for things like birthdays, weddings, brand events, or just a good private dinner.

Food and drink are handled by the Bunka team, with a mix of Asian-style sharing menus, pizzas, cocktails, and a Sussex wine selection, so it’s fairly easy to build something around your event.

The space itself is a mix of open-air terrace, covered seating, and a higher viewing deck. You can keep it small and relaxed or open it up for a standing event of up to 200 guests. There’s lift access, AV set up, a full bar, and support with planning if you need it.
