The Kingfisher is a historic venue located on the banks of the River Great Ouse and is THE perfect venue for your meeting or event. There is a choice of rooms from the small and snug to the large, open and inspirational riverside barn.
Formerly The Barns Hotel, The Kingfisher opened it's doors in August 2022 following complete refurbishment. The Tithe Barn is the largest of our meeting and event spaces – a unique, rustic and atmospheric 800 year old barn. Bespoke, authentic and unique, this space can host up to 90 guests theatre style and 60 cabaret. With its own private bar, you won’t find a more inspirational venue.
The Riverside Tavern is the perfect breakout and lunch space for the barn, and can accommodate up to 60 guests. Overlooking the river with direct access to the riverside terrace, it is the hottest spot in the venue!
For more intimate meetings, the Northill and The Southill are located in the new wing of the house (that’s about 60 years old here!) and can host up to 40 guests. Bright, light and airy with air conditioning, these rooms are perfect for any meeting or event.
