About this space
Our events team will help you fulfil any need you have while ensuring your big day runs as smoothly as possible. Deans Court is perfect for setting up everything from your ceremony, all the way to the party and accommodation. The outdoor garden area is licensed for holding a ceremony, however, there are also several churches within walking distance from our venue.
We can provide you with a list of caterers we trust, so you can choose a menu to your taste. There is also no corkage fee with us so that you can bring your own drinks, or we can offer you a fixed ‘per adult’ price. You can even have an open bar until 9 or 11:30 pm, all with a fixed price.
Our garden is the perfect backdrop for your evening festivities, as at night we light it up with candles, festoons and fire pits. All you need is to hire your favourite band or a DJ and dance the night away! The bar is open until 11:30 pm, with the possibility of an extension, while the music finishes at 11 pm.
When it comes to accommodation, there are two self-catering options for you and your guests. The Cottages sleep 12 people altogether, while the Gate House can host up to 16 people and offers an outdoor hot tub.

About Deans Court
Kept under the stewardship of one family for nearly 500 years, Deans Court is now managed by William and Ali Hanham. Only a short distance from the centre of Wimborne Minster in Dorset, this historical house stands surrounded by stunning ancient gardens.
Nowadays, the venue serves as a space for a variety of events, including workshops, pop-up social suppers, open-air theatres, alongside having a vintage lifestyle shop and a health-food café all in one property. It also offers accommodation to its visitors in the form of holiday cottages and houses. Sustainable living is a priority at Deans Court, as it is located within a heritage environment.
