About this space

The Sitwell Library is a Library in Woodend characterised by original oak panelling and a prominent stone mantel that give the room a traditional, study-like presence.

Design: The Sitwell Library shows dark wood panelling and tall glass-fronted bookcases lining the walls. A broad timber floor and high windows allow daylight to sweep across a central rectangular table.

Features: The room includes venue Wi‑Fi and a PA system with speakers. The room permits own music or external DJs subject to the venue's noise restrictions. A central conference table and wooden chairs are provided; additional seating can be arranged. Step-free access and accessible toilets provide wheelchair access.

Ideal for: Small professional groups seeking a quiet, seated meeting or a focused workshop in a traditional setting.

What guests say: The library and adjoining public areas are described as beautiful, and the surrounding gardens are often praised in reviews.
