About this space

The Brown Hare is a traditional pub centred on a roomy dining area fitted with a mix of wooden and upholstered seating.

Design: The main dining room pairs dark wood panelling and patterned wallpaper with mismatched wooden and upholstered chairs around long wooden tables. The space receives daylight through large windows and uses table-centred arrangements that keep seating close and communal.

Features: The pub has venue Wi‑Fi and a fitted PA system with speakers, and it allows hosts to play their own music or bring a DJ. The dining tables are laid with crockery and glassware and are arranged for sit-down service.

Ideal for: The room suits intimate to mid-sized groups seeking relaxed, family-friendly seated meals or informal, lively social gatherings.

What sets it apart: A step-free guest entrance and accessible toilets provide accessible access throughout the venue.

What guests say: The staff are attentive and accommodating, particularly about allergies and children's needs. The dining room is lively and busy at peak times and the food portions are generous.
