About this space

The National Museum of the Royal Navy is a museum whose gallery rooms form the venue; the defining quality is an institutional exhibition environment across interconnected gallery spaces.

Design: The gallery rooms feature timber floors and exposed painted beams. The rooms receive natural daylight through high windows and use a muted palette and exhibition-style panels that suit flexible furniture arrangements.

Features: The venue includes Wi-Fi, air conditioning and accessible toilets. The venue provides a PA system and speakers, a ceiling-mounted projector, and permission to play own music or bring an external DJ. The venue has level access and a flexible floorplan that accommodates seated dining layouts or open-plan reception setups.

Ideal for: Corporate groups and cultural organisations seeking a polished seated dinner or a relaxed standing reception in a museum environment.

What sets it apart: A permanent display of naval artefacts, period banners and large maritime paintings provides a museum-curated backdrop that remains in place during events.
