About this space

PLAYARD is an open-plan event space focused on casual indoor gaming and social play. The space's large flexible floorplate lets organisers configure multiple game zones and social seating.

Design: The interior is a large rectangular room with a low suspended ceiling and linear LED strips that cast purple and pink light. The floor is smooth and pale, and freestanding square columns punctuate the open plan.

Features: An adaptable open floor provides a marked dance area and space for rearranging equipment or game stations. The venue includes a PA system and speakers, Wi‑Fi and air conditioning. The space offers step‑free access, accessible toilets and the option for hosts to bring their own DJ.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, social, activity-led gathering that combines casual game play and standing socialising.

What guests say: The venue has a relaxed atmosphere and a generous open layout that supports multiple game areas. The space includes a varied selection of tabletop and social games and a bar area.
