Horspool Retreat is a private countryside venue in Gibsmere, Nottinghamshire, set across 20 acres of grounds. It suits corporate off-sites, team retreats, meetings, strategy days, client events, and private celebrations.

The property has nine bedrooms, eight bathrooms, an indoor pool and jacuzzi, an outdoor hot tub, and several areas for dining and spending time together. Starlink Wi-Fi and EV charging are also included. Groups have exclusive use of the property during their stay.

HORSPOOL HOUSE RULES

Please share these rules with all guests. Charges may apply for damage, extra cleaning or breaches of these rules.

• No glitter, confetti, feathers or party poppers indoors or outside.
• No smoking or candles indoors. Use the outdoor cigarette bins; do not leave cigarette ends or chewing gum in the grounds.
• No fake tan or foundation on white bedding.
• No drinks in the pool. Follow the pool rules and replace the cover after use.
• Use White Tack only—no pins, Blu Tack, tape or other adhesives on walls.
• Put all rubbish, bottles and boxes in the outside commercial bins before departure. If full, leave it neatly beside them.
• Remove and deflate all balloons and pool floats before leaving.
• Do not sit on beds or furniture in wet clothing/swimwear, or leave wet items on drawers or heaters.
• Keep doors and windows closed where possible, especially at night; we are in a rural area where insects are common.
• All visitors, suppliers and services must be agreed in advance. Unauthorised visitors are not permitted.
• Do not move furniture or beds, or take indoor furniture outside.
• Do not leave hot hair straighteners on furniture, beds or drawers.
• Use only the beds included in your booking; extra beds are charged at the full nightly rate.
• Pets must be agreed in advance, kept off beds and furniture, supervised or crated, and all waste removed.
• Do not use pens, ink, nail varnish or staining products on sofas. Do not put hot cups or plates on them.
• Stained towels/bedding and damaged items may be charged for.
• Follow your agreed arrival and departure times; late check-outs are charged.
• Music is permitted only in the kitchen, living room, garden room and dining room: maximum 85 dB until 1am, then 70 dB.
