About Tik Taco
There’s a small place on Coronation Walk called Tik Taco, and honestly, it’s the sort of spot you stumble into once and end up going back to again and again. We just do really good Mexican food, the kind that feels proper, with flavour that hits right. You can smell it before you even walk in — that mix of spices, grilled meat, and tortillas that instantly makes you hungry.
The place is run by a local chef, Anthony Greenland. He’s been cooking all over the place for years, then came back home and decided to open something he actually cares about. You can tell. Everything’s made fresh, the staff are sound, and there’s always this nice, easy-going energy in the room. It feels like Southport done right — a bit seaside, a bit street food, and a lot of heart.
